- Start installing lawn grass along a straight side butting the ends close together.
- On subsequent rows, stagger the joints like brickwork making sure that there are no gaps (this helps control weed growth between sections).
- If you need to adjust the position of lawn grass after unrolling always push it, rather than pulling it to avoid stretching.
- When fitting together two pieces of lawn grass at an angle, lay one piece over the other and cut through both at once.
- Lift the top piece and remove waste below.
- When approaching opposite side, add one full block next to your perimeter pieces.
- Then roll out the next to the last block and cut pieces to fit.
- At this stage consider top dressing with compost or lawn dressing.
